John F. Torregrosa, DPM, FACFAS, FACFAOM
Dr. Torregrosa is a board-certified podiatric surgeon in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), and by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Pediatric Medicine (ABPOPM). He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL and then went on to receive his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Barry University in Miami, FL. Dr. Torregrosa completed a surgical fellowship at the Atlanta Foot and Leg Clinic residency at Cedars Medical Center and a surgical residency at Aventura Hospital in Aventura, FL where he performed over 900 foot, ankle, and lower leg procedures.
Dr. Torregrosa has 25 years of experience as a podiatrist. For more than ten of those years, he has served the South Florida community and being a trusted name in podiatric medicine, he has received referrals from all over the United States.

Dr. Torregrosa developed the Torregrosa Calcaneal Fracture Technique in 2007 as a new approach to treating the injury, which is now widely used and studied by foot care professionals all over the world.
Since 2005, Dr. Torregrosa has been a doctor for the Alpinestars Mobile Medical Team, a professional motocross and supercross series. His advanced trauma life support certification combined with his racing experience and medical knowledge enables him to better treat the athletes' severe conditions from head-to-toe trauma. Gon Saman, DPM
Dr. Gon Saman, DPM, has recently joined the esteemed team of podiatrists at Florida Foot and Ankle Institute, where he will work alongside Dr. John F. Torregrosa.
Dr. Saman’s educational background includes a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors in Biology. Dr. Saman further enriched his expertise through a comprehensive residency program at New York College of Podiatric Medicine and Metropolitan Hospital, where he was Chief Resident from April 2022 to July 2023.
Dr. Saman has also pursued a Mini Fellowship in Podiatric Dermatology in March 2023, emphasizing dermatopathology and pathology, from the Bako Podiatric Dermatology Fellowship Program in Alpharetta, GA. This specialized training equips him with advanced skills in evidence-based medicine and specimen collection. He is board-qualified by both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM).
